Judging by LSN, it looks like they were sending out decisions pretty much almost daily throughout the month of March and then suddenly have been silent ever since the 18th, which means almost ten days of silence! I'm sure there will be some batches of decisions this week *crossing fingers*

i submitted 12/4..been in eval since 2/15. so definitely be patient with it, that's all you can do. just gives me more days to pray i get in lol.

was planning on going to the la reception, but decided to fly back up for their accepted students day (and the giants game!) on the 9th instead.

Are the receptions intend to be in lieu of the ASD? I was thinking of going to this as well as the April 9th ASD.

i suppose they would at least overlap quite a bit. i don't know that you would miss much of anything if you attend the ASD and not the la reception, though i don't know if the reverse would be as true.

Well, still eval in progress. I have a deposit due by 4/1 of $200. Would it be unreasonable of me to contact UCD admissions and let them know i would appreciate my decision soon? I have been in eval since 2/15 lol.

Same here, awaiting evaluation since late January with a $200 deposit due on 4/1.

Not at all. I did it last year, and my decision came 2 days later. I'm happy to give you the exact letter I sent them if you want an idea of what to write (but pls don't plagiarize). Send me a PM if you want it.

EDIT: sorry, just remembered that I sent it to them on my work email. Since I don't work there anymore, I can't access it. Just respectfully mention that you are interested in attending King Hall, but you have other deposits due and need to make a decision. Good luck.

Complete 1/18 and STILL awaiting evaluation. This is getting ridiculous. Definitely going to have to shell out 300$ for another deposit before I hear anything >_<. Anyone else that applied January still awaiting eval?

Ignorant here, but does Davis not offer merit scholarships? The admissions packet talked about how the school would help meet financial need, but no mention of scholarships. I've only skimmed through the admit packet today due to a busy workday, so if I peruse it more deeply later I might end up kicking myself over not spotting it mentioned.

How the hell can multiple people still be AWAITING evaluation (including myself and 4 others I know) so late into the cycle. It just seems horrendous at this point that people put money in and their applications still have not even been properly glanced at.

I have this theory that they've created some auto reject pile that they'll be sending en masse in the near future. I know they had to have at least taken a glance at my numbers, and then they probably figured I didn't have a chance so I think they didn't even bother to switch the status from awaiting evaluation.

I submitted mine on 1/7...though I"m sure there's people waiting in front of me.

I think UC Davis is saving up all of our apps for a massive admissions wave, because Davis has jumped in rankings, now time to show some love to those who support the school, including us, the applicants who's # are not good but applied to the school anyway, Davis knows we'd definitely go there if accepted and we'd be grateful too and will stay loyal to the school, Davis also could've received warnings from UCLA and Cal for coming up too close, time to drop back a few ranks by accepting unqualified applicants, either way, all of us waiting should get the good news soon

Associate Dean said something interesting last night: while apps are down 12-15% across the country, they didn't take much of a hit at all at Davis.

Seems like Davis can potentially expect another bump in rankings next year... U$C watch out!

this is the only weekend I have time to visit Davis, but there are no scheduled tours of the school. Are there any Davis law students out there that would be willing to give me a short tour/answer a few questions this Saturday (4/2)? I'd be happy to take you out to lunch as well. Thanks!

I wonder if now that they've achieved such a great ranking theyll want to make sure and maintain that next year and therefore be even more selective with us still awaiting Eval or in eval. I hope not, but i'm unsure if that ranking hurts or helps those still waiting.

awaiting evaluation since 1/14... i WILL be shelling out $$$ unfortunately....
my chances of acceptance are slim, but this LONG wait is just.....making me hopeful.
