hmm my status just updated today to decision mailed 1/17...guessing it's a rejection

Come on Vandy. 3.5/172. Why Vandy + Letter of Continuing Interest. Applied early October. Nothing. Was not interviewing such a big deal? Please let me in.

what makes you say that? You'll only know when you see if it's fedex or a letter.

yeah it just seems like people have already been getting the fedex packages. hopefully i will get one today!

could have been. but fedex wasn't. Plus, it's not like they gave you a tracker saying it's on its way, all they said was that they sent out a response to you that day.

It seems like the rate of decisions is picking up.

I went complete on 12/1 and am hoping for SOMETHING soon.

Decision mailed 1/17 - I've been complete since 11/15 and am guessing it's a rejection.

I also got the FedEx, sent on 1/17. It arrived yesterday.

well for anyone who cares to read too much into this... I checked today and have the decision mailed 1/17 update. Also, I recently asked a colleague to write an additional LOR for me which LSAC just processed and sent out to schools yesterday. I had it sent to all the schools I've applied to so far. The schools that have rejected me (i.e. chicago) have little exclamation points by the report statuses which when you click say "report not generated at request of school". The report for Vandy has been generated and does not have this exclamation point.

I called FedEx, spoke to a person and they said there is nothing on its way to my address in their system. I assume that means I've been dinged, which is a cruel way to find out.

What do we know about waitlists? Ahh! This one really hurts.

I know, but that's the best I can do. Think of it this way. If you go to DM and you don't get your package within 2-3 days, you are probably looking at a ding or waitlist. At least as far as I know.

decision mailed on 1/17 as well. my numbers are lower though so I may break the trend. 3.4x, 166. an acceptance here would be game changing
