Yeah, I'm sure they're trying to get out of there ASAP. I'm in Richmond right now and it's not too bad here yet, but I heard it's supposed to get worse this afternoon.

Status says admitted. I got the email first.

Same. I got the email first. And I only checked my email after everyone was posting here. I don't like to check status checkers a million times a day. I will only do so if I learn of new information on TLS.

I think the weather played a big part of the emails coming out early. (I didnt get my email until around 2:30pm, 12/2/2010, Admit). Status checker definitely went first if not simultaneously.

I submitted app on 12/14

and this is 12/16..... I got the decision and waitlisted.

I have 167/3.48

yeah my number isn't great.

But I mean did they even have time to look at my app?? it's been only 2 days and they already made decision on me

Is this normal pace for W&L???

I am so depressed..

Yes. I read back through the thread yesterday, it looks like since they started giving out decisions that (aside from Thanksgiving week) EVERYONE has received a decision on the Thursday following their application being complete.

Good thing I did not have to pay for this App. I do not think they read applications. I think I had my app in for a little over a week.

Just submitted last night. I held off because, despite all the mailings I was getting, I didn't see a fee waiver... turns out I had one all along. ANYWAY...

I'm already under review. I mean, the thread seemed to indicate they were fast, but WOW. Does there seem to be any predictability thus far among the admits/WLs/rejects? Based on my numbers, I would imagine I'm right in their range, but they've admitted so many people already...

It's not my top choice, but it's a beautiful campus, and I had a friend who was at the law school for a year and loved it (she transferred to UIUC because her husband was there). If I get admitted with decent $$, I would strongly consider attending.

Congrats, BTW, to all the admits thus far!

Any other waitlisters NOT get their letter in the mail? My status checker said it was sent 12/6, but I still haven't gotten it.

Everyone got a fee waiver

There was no application fee this year
