Wow, from the wide range of acceptances so far it is becoming clear that Berkeley's admissions process is as holistic as they say it is. I can't decide whether that makes me more or less hopeful. I guess it all depends whether they think I'm cool or not. Major congratulations to everyone who got calls today!!

I have been under review since 11/17... Is anyone else in this same predicament? When should I expect to hear back? I submitted it 11/15 so it went under review rather quickly. Is that good or does it mean nothing?

I submitted 10/28 and went under review on 11/01. I don't think the rapidity of going from Submitted/Complete ---> UR has any correlation to "bad" or "good" for Berk.

Means nothing. No one knows when you will hear back. Try and be patient, I know it's difficult.

Yeah, no, you're right. I've been pretty good, I don't expect to hear back from anywhere until December but since I saw that some people were accepted rather quickly after going UR, I was just wondering if there is a methodology to it. I read on here once that if your UR for awhile it may mean that they are on the fence.

Eh... My UGPA is below what they would like, but I've since done a Master's degree and I'm completing a PhD. My LSAT score is in the middle of last year's range, and I have a ton of softs that should boost my app. I'm also a URM, for whatever that's worth at Berkeley. PM me if you want more info...
