Me too, same dates.Weirdlog wrote:I submitted and went UR the exact same dates as you, moxie--no worries!moxiepostulate wrote:Aaack. I submitted on the 9th and went under review on the 15th. Maybe Dean Tom is not a fan of my GPA? *sad panda*
I also was offered an ASW stipend. She specifically mentioned it.tkgrrett wrote:Also.. a thread of travel stipends from last year said berkeley only gives stipends to "some" admits. The admissions lady mentioned I would receive some info on a stipend for travel costs to ASW April 8th. I assumed this was standard... did everyone else get this convo or maybe I imagined it??

I submitted 10/28 and went under review on 11/01. I don't think the rapidity of going from Submitted/Complete ---> UR has any correlation to "bad" or "good" for Berk.shanshan333 wrote:I have been under review since 11/17... Is anyone else in this same predicament? When should I expect to hear back? I submitted it 11/15 so it went under review rather quickly. Is that good or does it mean nothing?
Means nothing. No one knows when you will hear back. Try and be patient, I know it's difficult.shanshan333 wrote:I have been under review since 11/17... Is anyone else in this same predicament? Yeah, no, you're right. I've been pretty good, I don't expect to hear back from anywhere until December but since I saw that some people were accepted rather quickly after going UR, I was just wondering if there is a methodology to it. I read on here once that if your UR for awhile it may mean that they are on the fence.Knock wrote:Means nothing. No one knows when you will hear back. If that's the case, then my fence must be the Great Wall of China, because I've been UR since 10/18.shanshan333 wrote:I read on here once that if your UR for awhile it may mean that they are on the fence.
Haha, I LOLed. Are your numbers borderline?Teflon1974 wrote:If that's the case, then my fence must be the Great Wall of China, because I've been UR since 10/18.shanshan333 wrote:I read on here once that if your UR for awhile it may mean that they are on the fence.

Eh... My UGPA is below what they would like, but I've since done a Master's degree and I'm completing a PhD. My LSAT score is in the middle of last year's range, and I have a ton of softs that should boost my app. I'm also a URM, for whatever that's worth at Berkeley. PM me if you want more info...shanshan333 wrote:Haha, I LOLed.
