They don't have a strict matching policy, but they do want to know if you have offers from other peer schools.

If it makes you feel better, here above both 75 and no word. So we have pretty much any sort of high combination. They may just be slow.

Got the email saying I was waitlisted today...

This blows.. At least its some news I guess....UCLA is still my top choice so I'm going to stay on the WL and see what happens. Good luck guys!

submitted 11/15, complete 11/16.. I was ED..... 169/3.4 decent softs

Huh, weird. I submitted 10/31 and went complete 11/6, and I am ED also. My LSAT's worse but my GPA's better and I haven't heard a word yet. I figured I'd have been dinged or WL'd a long, long time ago. What gives... LOL.

Well UC's do love gpas... maybe the Dean hasn't been able to call you yet

... it does take less work to send an email thats already written than to make a personal phone call... Just out of curiosity.. do you mind telling me or PMing me your numbers?

As if Dean Schwartz heard my e-mail crossing the internet, I just received my WL @ UCLA e-mail. Oh well, I expected a ding, so I'm happy. Time to write some serious LOCIs and take a trip to LA.

After going complete 10/15, I got the call from the Dean today. Took all self control to not scream in his ear. LA sounds perfect wehn its 15 degrees right now in Chicago. West Coast here I come!

ED, out of state, 168, 3.4, 3 years solid WE.

Well I had to cry into my pillow for a few minutes, then call my parents and let them know I got WL'd (as good as rejection in their minds). Then I posted. The e-mail has a time stamp of 5:59 pm.

I submitted 9/17, complete as of 10/07 with a 169 3.83. I'm rd and oos, so I'm hoping the WL bat will take a swing and a miss at me... I would seriously like to hear from a ca school soon...

Seems like there's a batch of us RD and complete on 10/07 who have yet to hear with stats at or above medians. What gives, UCLA? For realll

Yeah, going into this I was fairly confident I'd get in as I've got decent softs (masters and work experience), good lors and a convincing ps. Although I got into Michigan, I want to work in ca so I was really hoping for UCLA as a Cali option as Berkeley is less likely.
I'm not giving up hope, but to be frank I'm really surprised by some of the people who've been waitlisted and also a bit mystified by the dates some people were admitted (let alone Saturday and last Sunday acceptances).

Hmmm... yah, I can see why YP WL would be a concern. You're just overall a better candidate than me lol- so I have no idea. If they let me in they should let you in!

I hope this is the case. Hopefully more acceptances come out tomorrow and next week. Also sorry about everyone who got waitlisted recently (unless of course you expected rejection. In that case congrats!)
