We're all still on the wait list! YES.
(Please admit me, Harvard!)

Precisely. In other news, someone might not show up to orientation in which case you may or may not receive last minute summons to drop all and make haste to Cambridge.pissantvache wrote:Hey guys, guess what?

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2010
I haven't posted much here but I thought I would add some information to this thread. I was contacted last Tuesday by e-mail to set up a phone interview (JR 1.5? JR2?) for the next day. In the interview I was asked "Why Harvard?" again, and then, "If you were offered a spot, would you be able to accept it right away, or would you have to take a while to think about it?" I balked at first, but by Friday had made up my mind to attend and got a phone call officially offering me admission while on the road. So even at this point, people are being admitted!
I am happy I got in, but it was a tough decision, especially just a week before I was going to move to my graduate school. And now, organizing financial aid, living arrangements, my move to Cambridge, and everything else, is not easy. But for those of you still on the waiting list who really want it, I hope some other spots open up soon

It's kind of weird that they would do that right after yesterday's email no?

Last time I got an email from Harvard was on on April 17th with my waitlist notification.
Haven't heard a peep from them since.

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2010
Ding ding...
At least it was a fairly soft response, talking about transferring
"The Admissions Committee has determined that it will not be possible to offer you admission to Harvard Law School. We greatly appreciate that you kept your application available for consideration.
If your interest in Harvard Law School continues into your first year at another law school, we would welcome your application as a transfer student in 2011. If you would like to receive further information about transferring to HLS next year, please respond to this email with your name and a permanent email address and we will be happy to contact you about the transfer application process in late April 2011.
Thank you for your patience and for your interest in Harvard Law School."

I urged everyone to withdraw now but you guys are not lawyer material. How are you going to stand up to the rigorous world of litigation if you are sitting here waiting for a JR1? Give them the dynamite charge and withdraw!

Mine too. Sorry for delayed response, but I didn't get any kind of holding email, just a "sorry, wanna transfer later?" email.Sogui wrote:My experience seems to indicate otherwise.Core wrote:Yea. Sniffle. Thanks for the solidarity throughout, guys! Good luck to those still waiting.

As the White Sox's Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson would so annoyingly call it, "He-Gone". Email ding last week. Bummed, to be sure, as I thought I put together a competitive package, but had pretty much accepted my fate by mid-July. Such is life. Best of luck to all those still playing. You know they'll need someone at the last minute, and hopefully it can be a TLS regular.

Four days to Harvard's orientation. Who's still alive?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
