Well at least that is only one day I have to wait. I don't think my mood would have rebounded yet! My cycle will officially be over tomorrow if it does come out! (let's hope it does)

To the posters above commenting about the "leftover" pool, which'll consist of some WL's, older non-trads with valuable WE, borderlines adding to diversity, etc. I personally can attest to the veracity of this info. I have this from the horse's mouth @ HLS admissions. Although, I should note: don't expect any such movement until about mid-late May, or even early June or later. HLS is evasive and specious about timelines. Things are looking great for me on the HLS tip. Phone interview on deck.

PS - I didn't get 'banned' per se. I just asked TLS admin to delete some of my posts (and quoted text) because I inadvertently let out some rather invasive (identifiable) personal information out about me. Purging my entire account seemed like the most feasible option, to which I consented. Either way, I'm travelling on business as I am on a project, so I won't be posting on TLS all that much.

any guesses as to why they wouldn't just WL/reject people they already know they're not going to accept? like Amelie, I pretty much know I'm out at this point and want to move on, and it's starting to get frustrating that HLS is stringing this out interminably.

Michigan is it for me. How about you? Any chance you'll end up in A2?

I should hasten to add that JR and Asha made the decision much easier than it might have been. That said, I think Michigan was the right fit for me, so I feel especially fortunate.

Edit: I just noticed that you pulled the T3 sweep. Congrats! Although I assume this leaves Michigan out in the cold...

Last year there was a huge wave of waitlists (and a smattering of rejections) on April 15, which happened to be a Friday. Assuming things work similarly (likely but by no means certain) there will be a wave of waitlists today.

Well, it has been 7 weeks since JR posted about holds in which he said he estimated 6-8 weeks to go through all the applications and review holds. Granted, this was probably just a ballpark estimate.

A lot of people have said in the past a large WL & rejection batch came out on April 15th. They may have postponed it to Friday afternoon to give people the weekend to calm down, before calling and asking questions, especially if they are making a waitlist.

I am just speculating though, good to look at other things while writing my research project.
