She accepted in the voicemail
Last question: is there any change to your status checker following the call? I'm trying to figure out if its worth calling admission to let them know I'm only accessible by email..

Yep, the status checker changes to say "Admitted."

And you get an email within an hour or so. IMHO, not worth letting admissions know

I'm gonna have to say that this is the first time I've ever heard palo alto abbreviated like that, and it caught my by surprise.

It shall depend upon
(1) ASW (mostly how I feel about the student body)
(2) $$$
(3) Weather (And actually, HLS might win the weather debate for me cuz the idea of snow sounds super awesome to a west coast child)

It'd be nice, but I am wondering if Wed. or Fri. would be the day...

We can dream, right? I've been hoping every week would be the magical week of JS2s since I had my JS1.

My self-serving theory is that it just was getting too late out east and they figured "Meh, we'll finish making the calls tomorrow, starting around 1pm EST."

I will also take a Friday call. I am not THAT picky...

In support of that theory, the long JS2 hiatus leading up to yesterdays wave probably means that they had a LOT of JS2s to do and just couldn't fit them all in yesterday. They should pick up where they left off yesterday any ol' time now. Right? Right??

Is it sad that I think that this is actually quite possible?

Then it must be sadder that I think this is actually quite probable.

I guess I shouldn't point out that JS2s went out yesterday within a one hour span ending at 5:30pm EST, which isn't even late for EST applicants, let alone all the PST kids. :(

What if JS just wants to go home, relax, and cook some dinner?

So Harvard sends a confirmation email the day before your JS1? Should we call/email to confirm if we don't get such reminder?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
