Did you receive confirmation for the scheduling of your JS1?

I think they confirm the day before.redbrickwall wrote:Did you receive confirmation for the scheduling of your JS1?

You usually receive a confirmation 24 hours afterwards. I would wait until the day before your JS1. If there's nothing then, then I would give them a (very nice) phone call.redbrickwall wrote:Did you receive confirmation for the scheduling of your JS1?
Edit: I received my confirmation the day after the day I scheduled.

Is there a time frame after JS1 when you can just become an unofficial member of the hold crew if you haven't heard a thing? I'm starting to think I invented my JS1.

Whew! You're right! I was pretty sure I had a confirmation email, but searching my inbox for "Harvard" didn't bring it up. Because the confirmation email doesn't have "Harvard" in it anywhere!
It says, "HLS."
Thank you for saving me from a heart attack!

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Guys, I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to technology, and use Skype maybe once a year. For some reason, for both of my interviews for Chicago and Harvard, I managed to experience some kind of technological error during the start of our conversation despite thinking I had done a perfect set-up. In one case, I ended up having to conduct the interview over the phone because of this.
Do you think interviewers will count mishaps like this strongly against their interviewees? I mean, I was presentable, clean, eager, articulate, engaged, etc, and these issues occurred only at the start -- but it's these tech mishaps that make me shake my head at myself!
Do let me know your thoughts. Cheers.
PS -- Thank you to all for your help on this thread!

Both of my screwed up too, Harvard's pretty badly actually, and JS said it wouldn't count against me and that part of it is just to get even a temporary visual. And I got a very nice package from Chicago all things considered, so I don't think it's a big deal.

Hey, folks -- longtime lurker here. Anyone else in the pre-JS1 boat? When is it that we'd expect the latest JS1s to emerge before we all get waitlisted/dinged? I went complete mid-January, and am sweating a bit.
