Which schools are you guys deciding between? Interested to see how other people pick and choose.

I've only been accepted to UCLA, Georgetown, and University of Washington, so right now I'm leaning towards Georgetown. I'm still waiting to hear back from UVA, UofM, NYU, Columbia, Chicago, Stanford, and Yale (lol) though, so it's still all up in the air.

I'm likely going to Duke, USC is still in play as a low cost option, and Berkeley could sway me with a sizeable scholarship but I doubt that happens. I also have some outstanding applications to hear back about.

The call I just got from my local TTT school may have just swayed my decision, though

Right now UConn at 20k (total) is top contender b/c BC, UNC, Minnesota, and William & Mary are all 130-50k for me. Riding waitlists at BU, GULC, WUSTL but unless they give me $$ my choice is pretty much made up for me.

Have yet to hear from more reaches, but they are reaches so no faith there.

I am still waiting to hear from Harvard, NYU, and UVA. Of my current options, I am deciding between Columbia, Penn, Northwestern, Michigan, Georgetown. Last two are less likely than the first three. I would need major money from Georgetown to go there, and they haven't even sent me a feeler email.

Ah, I can see that. I don't really take their treatments of the murders as "gleeful." They definitely make a lot of jokes, but generally its not at the expense of victims. And they often tell stories about certain things we take for granted in society that are the result of someone losing their life: i.e. AMBER alerts were instated as a result of the kidnapping of a little girl named Amber.

That being said, I am just completely fascinated by true crime, so I personally love it, and can't stop listening. But now I'm even more afraid of murder than I usually am. Which is a lot.

just don't pick a 16 seed to beat a 1 seed and don't have all number 1 seeds in the final four. after that, it basically comes down to luck

Are you saying that Romo is so overrated that Chargers would let Rivers go to get him?

Oh no! I'm saying that any team targeting Romo would be better served by targeting Rivers, since Rivers can be expected to actually play the full season. The Chargers see looking for a new QB through a near future draft to be the face of their LA transition

I've been ghosted by UVA and H, but otherwise Michigan, Northwestern, and Duke. WUSTL has to get back to me about upping their offer, but it looks like I'm probably headed to one of those T13's. Wherever gives me the most money, basically.

I'm not taking a dog in this fight, but I totally get deleting posts. The fact is you gotta keep your profile clean, you don't want to give someone the wrong impression or have old things you said on the internet find some way to damage you in the eyes of someone else before they even meet you. There are some people on these boards who will probably go on to do very public things with there lives and I'm not going to begrudge them wanting to scrub things that could possibly damage them.

Here's an idea too: People could just not be an ass to other people on this site.... then they wouldn't have to worry about it! Lol.
