We're behind on the number of ding waves compared to last year...I wish there was some way to know whether our waves are bigger as a result, or if there are definitely more coming.

Not unprecedented.
Class of 2017 had two JS2 waves in the last 5-6 days of the cycle, separated by a few days of rejections/waitlist.

This thread put it at over 20% of those reporting here. http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... p?t=225363 Hard to say how accurate that is though, and I would guess the actual percentage is lower.
