Really? Why? Would that have been better than the RTK for you? Or Stanford?
Yeah, it seems to present a wider range of post-graduate opportunities.
By that do you just mean you might not want to do public interest?
Edit: (Because if you think there's some other advantage/disadvantage I'd be really interested to hear more. The Root name and alumni base seem to carry lots of opportunities--perhaps more than a lot of full ride scholarships-- but, granted, they are going to be PI-centered.)

DLS date?
Why do you keep asking? the dates are all over the place. There have been no recent acceptances (10 days ago?). I'm guessing at this point it's WLs/dings from here on out.
The dates are all over the place, but perhaps the results of each date consistent. i.e. several people with DLS dates at 4/10 have reported waitlists. but guy and I are DLS 4/11 and have yet to receive a notification of any sort. I am particularIy interested in those with DLS dates of 4/11. I have been UR since 11/1. my sanity is waning. please allow me some solace in attempting to make sense of the chaos.
So I've been ghost reading this forum for awhile. I too went DLS 4/11. And had been UR since Feb 12ish. STILL absolutely no word via email or snail mail. This whole Ding via snail mail thing is f'ed though.

called yesterday to ask if i could request to receive my decision by email. answer: no. f you nyu.
asked whether "decision made by the end of april" meant that decision would be in my hands by that date, or merely postmarked by that date. answer: postmarked. f you nyu.
in the .0000000001% i'm admitted, i will request that they pay me back the hundreds of dollars i am going pay to georgetown.
i'm sure all this anger will soon be for naught, though.

I agree. It's so great to be done. And I really can't think of a better-fit school for me than Mich, in or out of the T6. Thanks Pulandasu!

Heck no. I already responded to their email, asking to be withdrawn. At this point, certainty is worth more to me than hope. (And "hope" isn't the right word to describe how I feel about getting into NYU anymore. I think Mich is the better deal financially and a better fit for me as well.)
But Mulch... good luck. !!!
