God I hope they don't know my account name on TLS, but I don't think they're the brightest tools in the shed either... but they have great LSAT scores!MURPH wrote:OMG, I just realized my friends are stupid.mec30 wrote:I just got into the group and can tell you for a fact that there are some people in there I know are not attending Cornell. I know that facebook isn't necessarily the best indication, and as some pointed out there are sure to be some administration included as members, but the number has jumped drastically in the last 2 weeks.
Bah I need to find something better to do with my time.

Phew it is nice to know all of those people in the group aren't going! TLS has saved me from many a nervous breakdowns lately!

For those who care. Just received an email saying decisions will be made very soon.

hmm I didn't get the email either. Did the email say that you specifically would be getting a decision very soon or all those on reserve? Thanks!raycharles86 wrote:For those who care. Just received an email saying decisions will be made very soon.

I emailed some additional documents. The reply was that it would be filed and that a decision would follow very soon. Do not know if it is just for me or a general statement. I feel we should be finding out soon though.
Hope I did not cause anyone to panic. If I did I'm sorry

an appeal to all. If you paid your deposit/gave your work notice/know you will not be going to cornell: Please take your name of the list. I as probably many others turned other schools down or only have the hope of attending cornell, this extra competition for a few precious spots does not help anyone

Nah, just went from decision to complete. I have no idea what that means, and feel a little emotionally abused.Mosca wrote:I'm still at decision, no email. Did your date change?Pearalegal wrote:My status changed back to complete, no email.

Re: Cornell waiting room
I just logged into my status checker for the first time in about four months (when I was deferred). It says that as of 06/16/10, my application status is "Decision" and a letter was mailed to my home address. Is this probably an old message from four months ago when they sent me a decision letter saying I was deferred? I have no way of knowing if I received any sort of letter - I used my parent's home address for all mail correspondence, and they've been out of town for a week or so. I was just wondering if anybody else has received this update.

That sounds new, though I think the general consensus is that if you don't have an admitted student link, its not good news. Sorry

Thanks! I just check on a whim - I've already made plans and committed $$$ to attend Washington University in the Fall, so I had honestly forgotten about Cornell ever since I was deferred in January.Pearalegal wrote:That sounds new, though I think the general consensus is that if you don't have an admitted student link, its not good news. I phoned them yesterday and was given the impression that they were making decisions at that moment/ in the next few days regarding the reserve group.

Still complete today. Something about when it switches back to "complete" and tells me I'll have a decision LAST YEAR really cracks me up. I'm on to you Cornell.

It also is no longer June, when we were supposed to find out what the deal will be. Cornell you are sneaky, but lovely at the same time.Pearalegal wrote:Still complete today. Re: Cornell waiting room
I just called to ensure that all of my LORs and LOCIs arrived, and they said that my file was currently under committee review and that I'd have a decision by the end of this week, if not by early next week. Just updating for those curious about what Cornell admissions are up to !
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
