I'd really like to agree. But I think it's a little odd that so many of us folks who applied ED and were deferred are in this group with the status date changed to 2/26. They've obviously looked at our apps once. I'd say, more likely than them looking at us again, they might be comparing apps for reject, admit, WL. Who knows. Time to get off the forums.

I haven't been following this thread very closely -- how do these merit scholarship interview happen? Do they e-mail you after you've been admitted?

Yes, it was an unsolicited email. The yellow form (their specific aid application) is up as well. I don't know what the significance of the interview is (just prodding to see if you're going to attend, big $, etc.), but the email did say that any offer accepted is binding (have to withdraw all other apps). The email also mentioned that they were just starting the process, implying more emails will be sent out.

Congratulations and good luck! So this was an interview request for a scholarship? Just curious, when did you receive this email? I've still got my fingers crossed for one...

I'm also updated to UR 2/26, but I'm not in the deferred group. I first went UR on 2/19 or so.

Even though your GPA is low, I can't believe you're not in with your LSAT. Good luck with your interview, seems like you should be able to get in if it goes well. Mind if I ask what your full app complete UR date #1, UR date #2 have been? I've got numbers similar to your's with a lower LSAT and higher GPA.

2/5 was my one & only UR date. I keep telling myself that maybe the interview is for YP, but I really don't think I'm a strong enough candidate to warrant that. I've already responded to the interview request, so hopefully all goes well.

Hm. For what it's worth, 2/5 is my one and only too. But my GPA is lower than yours as is my LSAT. And I, of course, have no interview request.

nope. it's too soon to know. but DR today so far has meant preferred waitlist.
