In response to whomever asked it: I am sticking around on the list (PWL). I'd say probably until mid-July. There's probably a TON of us on this waitlist, but whatever. I will be at my sister's place in DC, on UVA-GT law school waitlist stake-out, ready to attend my back-up, whatever that will be.

W&L. The deposit is $750!!! Got a scholarship. If I don't get off one of the T14 waitlists I'll be happy to get a solid JD for a good amount less than 100k. I just have a feeling that once deposit dates roll around and things shake out one of those 6 schools is gonna need my LSAT.

American University's is $900!! It's like their s*** don't stink or something. To the W&L guy, leaving law school with less than 100 grand in debt is a good lure in today's world of LS fees. Nice job.

I doubt anybody will have gotten both, considering one says "we have some spots left" and the other says "we don't have any spots." That would almost be too much doubletalk, even for lawyers.

However, these things have a way of changing so it is possible, though not likely, we will have room in the next few weeks. The key date for us (and you) is May 3 when our first deposits are due. With the usual extension requests, we will know for sure whether we have any openings by May 10 at the latest.

With the beginning of the summer and the official start of our waitlist, I'd like to let you know that we have created a special e-mail account for you - -for your use throughout the summer.

Thank you again for your continued interest in Georgetown and for your patience with our process. We hope to give you a fuller update by May 10, Monday afternoon, at the latest.
