Wow. Applied on the fourth and still do not have anything. I would guess we'll get something this week but that is just my conjecture.
Same here...I called the other day and they told me I was complete. They will be sending an email confirmation, but I don't know when. So you guys may also be complete.

I got deferred... I assume all ED applicants got deferral letters and no rejections since I would think with my stats I'd be a reject.

relegated to regular admissions pool. I just sent in an email asking to be considered for part time status instead. Think that'll improve my chances?

Conjecture here, but I would guess you would have to supply them with a pretty compelling reason for the switch. If everyone who was relegated to the regular admissions pool just switched to part time, I would think this would be quite problematic. In other words, don't make it appear as if you are trying to just sneak into GW through the back door.

Jmhendri I didn't read back all the way, but if you haven't received a decision yet I don't think it would hurt to ask to switch to PT (provided that's actually what you really want to do). If your numbers are hovering between FT and PT, they'd presumably want to take you to raise their #s.
I am so excited for the mail tomorrow I really can't contain myself.

hmmm. I think I provided a decent reason, here's an excerpt from my email:
"As I began the application process I did not view part time study as the best option for me, as I was eager to complete my studies and begin a career in International Law as soon as possible. However, since then I've learned more about the benefits of expanding upon my work experience while I study law. As indicated by the fact that I worked nearly full time throughout the duration of my undergraduate studies and flourished in a university setting, I'm confident in my ability to excel in such a program. It has been my dream to study law in the capital at George Washington University and I would greatly appreciate being admitted in any capacity.
Please let me know if part-time consideration is possible. I apologize for the untimely nature of this request. Thank you so much for your time."

update...
8 people (including one ED applicant) who got onto the admit student site earlier have been accepted. One ED applicant who wasn't able to get on was deferred. One (ED) applicant who wasn't able to log on was admitted.
Not getting onto the site doesn't mean that such applicants will not get in. (sincere best wishes!) But, getting onto the site earlier is looking like a positive indicator.
8 others who were able to log in haven't updated about deferrals/acceptances/denials. 5 others who weren't able to log in also haven't updated. (But it may just be that they entered information incorrectly) (These numbers are rough and I could easily be missing some info.) Sorry, I'm just a little bit anxious...

I was able to log on, and I got my big packet on Thursday. I think the correlation is true.

Do you mind telling me when is your acceptance package dated? I just know my letter was sent out on Jan 10th. I have a slim hope here...

Sorry, but that doesn't sound good. Most of the deferrals to RD were dated January 10
