My GPA is under their 25%, LSAT is right at 75%. I applied as a LONG shot, not thinking I would get in. I am in shock still. He mentioned there wouldn't be anything sent out in the mail until mid december.

Makes sense. I thought that he/she would have been using the same name both places.

Haha I haven't been on the boards all day and I just read today's posts on this thread. Poor V6 so much grief all day! and everyone who posted the lego guillotines: please tell me you didn't spend the time making them!
So lets have a hypothetical...
How many people would you guillotine for an acceptance to Boalt right about now

Are we talking about Lego people or real people?
You can just snap those Lego dudes' heads right back on. They don't mind.

CoutureChiq, CONGRATS! It's so good to see they didn't start with the auto-admits! What do you think differentiated you so early in the process, your PS??CoutureChiq wrote:THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!

Just wondering, since LSP puts both of us at 26% chance

Re: Berkeley 2010
Of course, but you have to break it down. Here's how i see it: You take the amount of Lego dudes you would kill, multiply it by your own personal Lego-to-human ratio, and that's how many people you would decapitate French-style to secure an offer of admission.Oli wrote:Real people! Dont you care about Boalt????
For instance, i would take off at least 300 Lego heads for Boalt. I actually value Legos MORE than people, so the ratio for me is 1 Lego for 2 humans. Hence, 600 people might have to rethink their fashion choices after i've borrowed their heads for acceptance purposes.
Make sense?

Personally I don't value legos or humans that much when it comes to acceptance at this particular school so bring on the line! Off with their heads one and all!

Hey CoutureChiq, Congrats again! May I ask how long was your PS? Was it Berkeley-specific?

So is this just vastly disproportional or did only 1+ maybe a few other people get in today?

More coming tomorrow, I'm sure. I've been held to the guillotine and escaped--I have no fear with my predictions any longer.

My PS was 4 pages. I had a paragraph or two about Berkeley towards the end.managamy wrote:Hey CoutureChiq, Congrats again! May I ask how long was your PS? Was it Berkeley-specific?
