In via snail mail about 2 weeks after my alumni interview. Above median LSAT slightly below GPA. First T14, and a school I rank very highly! PM for more details if interested.

I interviewed in early November. Id say you have at least another week because the snail mail takes a couple extra days as wellpotterotter wrote:Hey! When did you interview? What's the word on scholarships? Anyone heard anything yet? I had an alumn friend ask me if I've reached out WRT scholarships yet, but I was thinking it's a little premature. I'm at 176/3.59 for what it's worth

If I've already received a scholarship offer from a school which is ranked higher than Georgetown, would it make sense to start trying to solicit GULC for scholarship offers, or should I wait until they offer me something?

When should I expect to hear back after being deferred from ED?

Wait till they offer the $ first. Then you can NEGOTIATE.tylergreenandgold wrote:If I've already received a scholarship offer from a school which is ranked higher than Georgetown, would it make sense to start trying to solicit GULC for scholarship offers, or should I wait until they offer me something?

Yeah, just like a job offer... Don't be the first one to throw out a number because it might be (1) less than what they were going to offer or (2) significantly more than what they were going to offer in which case they may match it, but not guaranteed.hellohalo wrote:Wait till they offer the $ first. With it being still kind of early in the cycle, you never know how much leverage you have right now with another scholarship offer...
