Cornell is one of my top choices, so this is super exciting for me.
Congrats!! When did you apply if you don't mind me asking?
I applied Nov 16th and went complete on Nov 17th. The interview was requested the 28th, and I completed it on Dec 3rd. My status checker then updated to Dec 5th, and I got the acceptance this morning.

That's your opinion, I guess. I didn't get requested to interview at Georgetown, but I found Cornell's interview process to be minimally intrusive, because I could do it whenever I wanted instead of taking a day off, traveling, being nervous while driving there, etc.

Huge turnoff for me as well - as well as the scholarship offering.

It'd be fine if it were an option for those in such circumstances, but compelling interviewing applicants to go through the equivalent of a TimeWarner automated help line is kind of pathetic in my view.
It is technically not mandatory. I think they just want to make sure that you can speak in coherent sentences and have some life experiences that you can touch on in a variety of settings. My SO is in medical school and he had to do some for residency applications as well. I think it is going to become more popular, as the college/school admission process changes.

They gave you a scholarship offering already? Man I gotta turn my forms in! It's difficult to coordinate with my parents...

God, I hope more don't follow suit. I'm starting to really dislike this brave new world :|
I think interviewing in general for law school is a relatively new phenomenon for a lot of schools, right? My friend who is in physician assistant school was shocked that all schools don't require them

Wow this is shit - you only have one opportunity for reconsideration and they don't do it until after March 15. Man this blows.

You tried negotiating it? I got mine this morning, pretty disappointed tbh lol I know they can come up if I show them the other offers and stuff and other schools that I got into but IDK how to present this to them, they "reconsider" after March 15?

I am having the same issue. Parents make the CSS and tax returns quite difficult

I should've clarified - I didn't apply for need-based since Cornell isn't high on my list, so this was merit based only. Still fairly shitty. If anyone's interested in my numbers/amount it's all on my LSN.

That's what mine's doing

Emailed them and they said that it is normal. New information won't be posted there until they have something to share regarding decision. Hope that helps!

Same. Interviewed a few days ago, and it updated to today's date but still says "interview requested." Since it's a Monday, I figure this is their system "updating" to recognize that my interview has been submitted and queued up for review. Getting antsy and hoping to hear something before Christmas! It would be nice to get some good news to offset the looming Dec. LSAT score release.

I got in this morning via phone call, but I haven't received an e-mail, the status checker hasn't updated and I can't get into the ASW. Is this normal?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
