Congrats. How do your stats compare to their 25/50/75? Also, if you have a second, add your info to the spreadsheet linked on the OP!Mr. Meeseeks wrote:In yesterday morning via email! Super stoked as UMich is one of my top choices. Now to see if I can actually afford it

Figured I'd bump this for the next wave of admits. Congratulations!Iwanttolawschool wrote:Congrats on those admitted. For any future Summer Starters, I will have a fantastic fully-furnished sublease, close to the school, available for your first semester. PM if interested.

Haven't received a decision yet but out of curiosity, are there a lot of fully-furnished housing options near the school?Iwanttolawschool wrote:Figured I'd bump this for the next wave of admits. Ann Arbor has a lot of housing options, but 95% of them are really old and gross. The place i'm in is brand new with new furniture and essentially the same cost. Good luck on the decision.brinicolec wrote:Haven't received a decision yet but out of curiosity, are there a lot of fully-furnished housing options near the school?Iwanttolawschool wrote:Figured I'd bump this for the next wave of admits. Lawyers Club is great, and I highly recommend it. But it isn't available for the summer starters first semester. They clean it and use the Lawyers club for OCI.Keilz wrote:What the feeling on the lawyers club? At this point is there anything we can do to "boost" our applications? I didn't get into my #1 and Michigan is easily my #2. I've already been admitted to Gtown, but DC is crazy expensive to live in... Not a lot of great options anywhere near The Legal Center...
My app has been "Complete" for months, and I'd like to do something to impress upon them how much I'd like to go, and that I will go if admitted. I am right at their medians, with strong softs.

How many essays were we allowed to write? 1 or 2?

Re: Michigan c/o 2020 applicants (2016-17)
In via email early this morning!
Former military officer, grad degree. GPA<25th, LSAT>>>75th.
I applied a while ago actually, 11/02. I didn't do any additional essays, just a PS. A month later, I felt pretty stupid and sent in a Why Michigan essay via email and got an encouraging response from the admissions team. I would say that if you submitted your application a few weeks ago and still wanted to add an additional essay, you should go ahead and email them and have it added to your file. Michigan was a top choice for me, but when I sent my application I didn't really understand that you could use Why X essays for more personal reasons.
Excited to see the merit aid come out!

Complete since September.. Lsat at 75, no GPA.. sigh. I reapplied thinking it'd be way easier to get in with a new score but nope.
