Yeah, I'm sure it's not necessary, but considering I'm not a shoo-in, I'm hoping it meant it got set aside after a first look and now they're giving it a closer review.

Same here--had been UR1 since 10/4, now UR2 as of today. Was beginning to feel like they forgot about me...

No, they have only had one major wave of acceptances, and no denials yet.

Ur 2 is a date change after going under review on the status checker- you are still under review but the date after it changes

So there haven't been any denials or waitlists yet, correct? So if we go DLS (which I have not yet), we're probably in?

Submitted yesterday and already under review :D Maybe I'm jinxing myself for a long wait but the quick turnaround was exciting haha. Especially when other apps I submitted a week ago are still incomplete...

Not to rain on your parade but I was told by the "experts" on here that everyone goes UR p quickly after submission :/

Submitted ten days ago, went UR two days after submitting, still UR, no changes. I think NYU is just quick about UR1.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
