Is the Why Michigan essay a part of the optional essays, or is there an opportunity to write one plus, for example, a diversity statement? I haven't looked at my apps in ages.

Why Michigan was one of the several optional essay prompts (that included diversity statements, addenda, etc.). I couldn't do it because I needed to discuss other thing.

Yea you are allowed up to 2 if I remember correctly.

Those are the two I did as well. I wonder how many people actually choose one of the other random eight topics

Alright, tomorrow's the day for more Michigan acceptances right?

It seems to me like they mostly come out Tuesday - Friday. I can't remember if we've had any Saturday acceptances or not.

Question: if I'm retaking the LSAT in December, but want to send my app in with my October score, should I indicate that I'm retaking on my app? I just don't want them to hold it until Dec scores come in.

I would go ahead and let them know that you're taking in Dec because you shouldn't withhold info, but you can call or email to request that they not wait.

Upon further investigation, I'm seeing most if not all decisions thus far have been on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so those are the only days I'm going to get excited about at this point

Mine was a page and a half. I think it says to keep the additional essays to about a page, so I think 1.5 is fine.
