This is going to sound silly, but I'm not sure what everyone means by "why UPenn"... I wrote all of the optional essays, but don't recall any of them explicitly asking "why UPenn"... Am I confused?

There wasn't one that was explicitly Why Penn but there was one in particular that asked about values/characteristics that make you who you are and how those align with Penn, and that is what everyone is referencing.

So I just missed the call--got a very nice voicemail! And they said they'll be emailing within 24 hours.

Actually, very surprised, my status checker hasn't moved since 12/10 (and I don't remember if that was UR2 or not), didn't write a Why Penn, and I don't think my stats are above their 75ths or anything.

Also UR2 12/8 with you. It's still relatively early in the day and it looks like they're not doing them all back to back, based on the fact that we've only had 5 reports on here so far today (so there are maybe 20? others not on TLS?), and they've been spread over almost 3 hours.
