So the theory of them going to lunch and continuing after seems to be unlikely now, correct?

My current theory is that they scan as many as they can in the morning, mail them all out at noon, scan all afternoon, mail the next bunch out at COB.

ETA: That theory lasted all of 1 minute before Fra ruined it. Congrats!!!!

Can we all agree that the slow trickle is the worst?

is it confirmed that it's a slow trickle and not a few waves? seemed like all of the ones yesterday were just after 6, then today at noon or 2:30 (not exact times, but around then)

Personally, I would consider a few waves that last about 30 mins in one day to be a slow trickle.

Yeah I think that any method that requires you to be on edge all day is a slow trickle. Does not matter if it is admissions every few hours or every few minutes.

+1. It's the ultimate productivity killer. As painful as snail mail is, at least you can only really check it once a day.

yeah, I guess my question is more concerning whether we should check our email one time after a decision is reported ITT (and if we didn't get it we didn't get it), or if we need to be refreshing constantly haha

The waves may be concentrated around certain times but they definitely don't come all at once - charrob posted an acceptance at 2:35 but then ms2014 said their email came at 2:38. They may only be spread over a small amount of time though, so refreshing fifteen minutes after the first reported acceptance might be sufficient? (but who am I kidding, I'll be refreshing all day  )

As a K-JD, it's soooo hard to maintain focus on school as I go back and forth between my gmail and TLS.
Let the torture end soon!!
