Hah, my hopes for YLS are nonexistent. I think of it as kind of like winning the lottery- a nice surprise! But not something to take into the calculation while making plans involving reality.

I submitted about a week before the deadline and went complete a week and a half after. Maybe give it another couple of days before checking in?

To all those holding out for their Yale Marys:
Yale's admitted students group on Facebook currently has 137 members (minus three Yale admissions staff and several deferrals, so probably ~125 students admitted). Assuming that ~5% of admits haven't joined the group, that puts Yale at roughly 130 admitted students so far in the cycle.
Yale gives out roughly 250 offers a year, so there are plenty more admissions to come! Best of luck!

I searched TLS forums and that user did the same thing for Stanford back in January. I don't trust it, especially considering nobody else has reported today.

I'm just talking about their being movement in general. But this belies the assumption that schools are shooting for lower LSATs + high GPAs. Of course Yale is Yale, and no standards apply to it lol.

Apparently the key is not cat or power ranger avatars, but to cross your fingers really really hard!

I chose the dog avatar to buck the cat trend. Everyone likes an underdog

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
