I know I just finished mine after about two months of writing maybe a hundred intros and closing paragraphs with no body. I wouldn't mine trading with you when you finish if you want.hereisonehand wrote:man writing a personal statement is hard.

Thinking about doing one.. Is it as annoying to do as it looks?smccgrey wrote:Is someone going to OP another school's c/o 2018 applicants page? Georgetown is getting lonely...
In other news, I had a really great LSAT day... Is it weird that I'm excited to write it?? Is anyone else kind of looking forward to it? Or have I studied so much that I've lost my mind?

You can always just copy smcc's but substitute the info for whatever school you're doing. Don't forget to add a spreadsheet link if you do a T14!Winston1984 wrote:Thinking about doing one.. Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
I did mine and am in the process of editing it now... Don't shoot me but I actually did it really quickly. In the matter of about 1-2 hours. I was away for the weekend in a really relaxing atmosphere so I think that helped... Maybe get away and write somewhere relaxing. I also had a good idea of what I wanted to write and really thought about the different aspects I wanted to include over the previous week. It got to the point where I kinda just couldn't wait to put it down on paper. Now my diversity statement on the other hand...hereisonehand wrote:Sure! Hope to have a draft soon.MtnGinger wrote:I know I just finished mine after about two months of writing maybe a hundred intros and closing paragraphs with no body. What schools are you thinking of? The Harvard one was created about this time last year. I thought about it but know that if I made one it would NEVER get updated. I would end up most hated OP at the end of the cycle.

I think it would be a great idea if you added links for each thread that's made to this main thread. Maybe at the bottom? That way they are easy to find-very accessible...xylocarp wrote:You can always just copy smcc's but substitute the info for whatever school you're doing. Xylocarp,
Go for it! You are doing excellent with this thread. I'm assuming you will do great with that one as well. I'll do one as well
