Oh I am very familiar with that paragraph. I got in ED! Can't wait to move to Chicago.
I would have felt better if they had at least mentioned $ in the acceptance letter. This application process has made me paranoid.

I hope we hear something today! I would not be shocked if they made us wait until mid-week. Either way good luck to everyone waiting for decisions and to those on their interviews.

So... just to catch up: is the consensus that ED has passed? Or is there still hope for some of us? I'm going to make the healthy assumption that if the status isn't "deferred to WL" and you applied ED, you're still in the running.. right?

At least it looks like you can join the rest of us in RD.

Dean Johann Lee tweeted last week that there will be a second round of ED decisions this week. Check out his feed at "tweets by Johann". I'm excited to hear about the next batch! The Dark Kite wrote:So... just to catch up: is the consensus that ED has passed? Or is there still hope for some of us? Ya! I don't think all hope is lost for us remaining EDs. Last year there were a number of acceptances (and holds) in the second batch, so I'm hoping that applies to the rest of us!whereskyle wrote:Dean Johann Lee tweeted last week that there will be a second round of ED decisions this week. Is it unreasonable to expect RD decisions this week?

To all those admitted through ED on Friday: I spoke with Christina, the Director of Financial Aid (I believe). She said that they will be sending out e-mails detailing the scholarship package as soon as today. She said that she had received calls about the lack of scholly info in the original letter. She responded that they simply wanted to inform us of their decisions asap, leaving scholly stuff for today. If you would like her number, just PM me. Otherwise, you can get to her through the main line.

I guess to answer my own question: I found an RD on December 19 of last year. His/her numbers were pretty great though-way above NU medians.carmensandiego wrote:Probably not, but I don't recall seeing any from previous threads. No sweat. We didn't get into NU, because we ignore the fine print. By the way, I figured that we admits should have our own thread, although I personally plan to return to this thread to offer any advice I can to those awaiting decisions. Best wishes to everyone still waiting! Just be yourself and put your best foot forward! You will end up where you ought to be.dvm0802 wrote:whereskyle wrote:To all those admitted through ED on Friday: I spoke with Christina, the Director of Financial Aid (I believe). Guilty of being one of those calls.
