I'd say people start looking end of December/early January. The C/O 2017 Facebook should be setup by then and that's a good place to look. Are you set on having a roommate from the LS? If not, Craigslist will have some adds from other students. Also, on the UVA website there is a housing page that has good resources. ASW is a little late usually but there are usually a few people still looking. How'd you like the softball fields right outside of the law school? Pretty awesome I think. Anyway, congrats!!!

Admitted students are called, and that call is followed by an official letter.

Sorry I should have reworded my question. When does UVA send out its acceptance letters after you have been admitted? I received notification on a few days ago (Friday).

They generally send it the day you receive the call. So you should have it sometime this week.

I applied ED to UVA and tomorrow is my 15th day since they sent me the status checker email. I have not heard anything else from them. Is this a bad sign?

Not necessarily. One poster heard after his 15th day (ED) and got in.

Yup. Pretty much. You'll get a congratulations update a day or two after they've called you if admitted. Besides that, once complete you won't get anything.

I think a few of the admits have dropped off and some of us are in the c/o 2017 thread (hopefully that one will pick up soon too). This thread has been quiet though, which is strange because historically the past couple weeks are big for RD. This is a strange cycle though, so who knows. I hope the c/o 2017 chat picks up soon too I want to talk to some of my future buddies !

I was just thinking this same thing. It's been radio silence this week. Strange. Doesn't even seem like that many people have gotten interviews this week which surprises me.
