Y'all might laugh at this, but the possibility of ice did not occur to me at all. Guess I better look up train and bus prices.

Granted, I rode my bike in a long-sleeve shirt today....Midwestern weather is odd. It's supposed to be 5 degrees soon, but it might be 50 again soon.

All that to say, I'd play it safe and look into Amtrak and megabus/greyhound.

I'm not entirely sure how to get from O'hare to the amtrak station in Chicago, but I'm sure it is not difficult. IIRC, it's ~48 for a round trip amtrak from Chicago to St Louis, and then you'll be at a metrolink station in downtown St Louis, which goes straight to Wash U (On the blue line). If you are spending the night in a hotel in St Louis, the Moonrise is relatively short walk to campus, and it is only a few blocks from the Delmar Metrolink station (on the red line). You should be easily able to get by with just a few trips on the metrolink in St Louis.

I call YP, there's really no other reason you wouldn't have been admitted by now if you applied in September. Unless you have some significant flaw elsewhere in your app..and your other acceptances suggest that this isn't the case.

(yes yes I know WUSTL isn't known for doing that. But personally i think a lot of law schools are gonna exercise at least some YP this cycle)

It was an 8.5x11" envelope with a view book, instructions for the Admitted Students' Website, and some information on clinics that you might be interested in based on your application. I haven't heard anything on what they do with WL and dings, but I'd assume they're by email.

However, the admissions office seems to be experimenting with a lot of stuff this cycle, so who knows.
