I was accepted with a 90k scholarship...now I just have to decide whether GW+90K outweights GULC and the t-14. Any thoughts?

Congrats when did you go complete?

And is GULC and T-14 at sticker?

It went complete on the 12/26 and I was accepted 1/10. Georgetown is at sticker for now because they haven't really given out scholarships yet. Even so, from what I have heard they wont give much if they even give anything at all. Their median scholarship last year was 15k.

I'm in a similar boat, but my GW scholly is less than yours. I think it depends on what you want to do post law school. For the $$ I'm at right now, GULC wins. I emailed GW back with a very politely written note expressing my desire set up an interview/meeting to talk about my financial situation and how scholarships will affect my decision. Figured it couldn't hurt. Not that this helps you, but 90/100k is what I decided it would take for me to seriously consider GW over my t-14 options.

is anyone interested in a dual-degree program? I was looking at the website about a potential JD/MBA program but it doesn't have much information about it, at least that I could find. Mostly wondering if you have to apply to both beforehand because I know that there are some schools that you can apply for the MBA part after 1L

Not sure about specifics, but I know for the JD/MA in intl affairs, you can apply as a 1L for the dual degree.

after checking out some other things, it seems as though many of the dual degrees can be applied for during 1L. also, anyone looking at going to the preview day or whatever its called?

I was actually about to make this question haha! I have a feeling they don't, or they give minimal $$$ compared to FT because isn't the assumption that you're working while going to school. Just my guess, but I'd also appreciate some insight!!
