I have been made aware that scholarships are not given out past April so I will look into this fact and possibly withdraw formally ASAP. Sorry!
I'm pretty sure this is true, and also since the deposit isn't until May, your withdrawal might make the difference for someone the adcomms are on the fence about. If you're 100% sure you won't be attending, you should definitely withdraw ASAP! Best of luck to you! Have you decided where you'll be attending?

Not yet, but I called a good friend who works up at the school. He was able to make a few calls to find out for me. They mentioned "I'll be very pleased with the letter." Code for admitted I would presume. lol

Does the "pay your deposit" trick work for you, Kajual?

I didn't try it. I couldn't remember my UF ID.

"I affirm that I plan to enroll at the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Fall 2013, that I have no commitment to attend another law school, that I have not deferred enrollment at another law school, that I will not apply to another law school, and that I have withdrawn from other law schools to which I have been admitted."

Where can you find your UF ID if you have never had one? Can you generate one somehow?

On the form you fill out for residency, etc. your UF ID will be on there, even if you didn't got there for undergrad.

and then click "return to complete the supplemental admission information."

Appreciate the advice. It keeps saying "Cant find the server" when I try to login. I will try to figure this out when I return home. Appreciate the guidance!

Got it, thanks slawww! I guess for now I'm still not in. It's saying that my name and LSAC # don't match. I'll keep you posted and hopefully Monday I will move out of NDR.

No problemo! You're still NDR? It won't work until your status changes to "decision reached." My status changed on 3/11, and mine said the same thing early yesterday, and last night it finally worked. They must take a few days to put names in the system.

Good luck; hope you get out of NDR Monday! I was there forever.

True, true. How do you like the environment? Have you made good friends at UF? How are the class sizes? Also, this might not be UF specific, but do you recommend living alone or with a roommate for 1L?

Environment: the Levin campus is pretty good. Most of the classrooms are more than adequate -- some are even comfortable. Nothing aesthetically pleasing though.

If you mean "is it competitive?", I'd tell you that people are rarely in your face about it. Some do or say douchey things, but that's because they are douches.

Have you made good friends at UF?: if you had friends in undergrad, you will have friends in law school. I like the bars (especially downtown) and frequently go out, many don't. There are cliques, but I don't think it's catty at all.

How are the class sizes?: 1L classes are large. Writing/Research classes are smaller, ~30 people. Levin is a very large law school. TBH I've never cared about class sizes...if anything, you get away with not reading more often.

Do you recommend living alone or with a roommate for 1L?: Completely up to you, I don't think there is a "better" answer. I've got my own place at Cazabella and love it, but I'll have roommates next year and am looking forward to that too.

Happy to answer any other questions.

I would have fucked my own face if I lived alone 1L. Try to room with 2Ls, way more chill and help you keep your sanity.

Hahaha, point taken. Thanks for the info, UF2015, too!

Is there no UF Law 2016 FB group?

Also, don't worry too much about environment and student personalities and shit. The school is big enough where you'll find people you like. A lot will suck, because law students do, but just don't care and you'll be in good shape. I've made plenty of good friends, and there are a lot of chill sociable bros/girls to go boozin with.

Basically, it's whatever you make of it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
