So my status went "File complete; ready for review" on 11.13. Just wondering: ready for review is not under review, right? You guys can tell me how long it takes from RFR to UR?
I'm applying RD.

I am PT and went complete 11/7. Should I expect something today, do they do Saturdays, or is "10" days loose enough to go to Monday?

Thanks Br3V. No I didn't apply for PT. I solicited for a merit-based fee waiver, they gave me one, but didn't invite me for PT.

I haven't seen one go over 10 days yet, but I imagine its certainly possible.

I submitted on the 6th and I went complete the 7th or 8th and I got my status message today.

I was curious so I looked at the exact dates from mine:

I went complete on 10/1 and received my decision email at 11pm on the 10th business day. (10/12)

I spoke with the associate dean of admissions at the lsac forum last weekend and said its 10 calendar days but with the high volume of applications don't expect anything until the 9th or 10th day.

Thanks I was PT. They invited me for it when they sent me a fee waiver.

It's good to get accepted by Duke because I'll get bounced by a lot of the higher-up schools that I applied to ;/
At least now I know that there wasn't anything glaringly wrong with my application.

To give some context, I didn't tailor my PS to Duke anymore than it already was by accident. I didn't write anything about my career ambitions beyond the vague fact that I want to be an attorney. I didn't write a 'why duke' either.

I'm going crazy! Today is day ten for me (I went complete on Nov. 7th) and I still haven't heard. Has anyone heard from Duke at all today?? Gah I just want to know their decision.

Status changed to "Decision Made" yesterday evening (about 5:30pm). I then received the admission email at 6:17pm.

Here's the info, for anybody who's been asking the same questions I have:

- Complete 11/6, accepted 11/16 (10 calendar days, not including date of completion).
- Status change and email came in the evening of day 10.
- Accepted with 175 LSAT, 3.72 LSDAS GPA, URM (Argentinean), no "Why Duke" but I did add a very specific portion into my PS about why I want to go to Duke, and I did submit a DS.

Based on the previous comments and my own experiences, it seems that for PT the answer can come at any time up until midnight of the 10th calendar day. To find your day 10, use the date you completed + 10 more days (so not 11/6 - 11/15, but 11/6 - 11/16).

I'm not sure if this is Duke having this "10-day-special" or simply a result of my numbers not being at Duke's median, but I've been "under review" (RD) for a quite a while now. Am getting worried, and not expecting much (or: trying not to) by now.

Relax. It has nothing to do with your numbers and everything to do with the fact that not a single RD decision has been made--not even for those of us who are above both medians and applied early.
