It says that for a while it reads something like "check the LSAC website for any additional documentation required". Unfortunately the page will remain the same until a decision is reached. There is no activity page that helps you along by informing you of the progress of your app, Good luck!

Just got my financial aid package. It's all in loans... and trust me, I have need. My EFC is 0. I don't care how many palm trees U Miami has, I'm not taking 60k+ loans out for it, especially when I've gotten scholarship from much higher ranked schools. Will be withdrawing soon.

They can't be serious, they scheduled the law day the same weekend as Ultra Music Festival and I can't find a hotel ANYWHERE for less than $300 a night.

best advice i can give you is to check in the kendall area, not as close but probably a lot cheaper

@floridaninja, same thing happened with me today. I was on hold and just changed to "View Admissions Documents" or whatever the link says. I heard you can login to myUM and then open https://myum.miami.edu/Admissions/Accep ... Letter.asp in a separate window and receive your decision before it comes by e-mail. Unfortunately, when I do that, my page is just blank (myUM header, Miami Law watermark, but no text). Maybe it will work for you? Let me know if you have any success. Good luck!

Just stopping by....I'm in at the U, waiting to hear back from two more schools before making a final decision (but U Miami is definitely a top choice for me). Kinda wish they had given me some money, though.

Lots of alum around willing to answer questions, presentation by Dean White, mock class, and a panel with current students which was pretty interesting (they videoed all this with hopes of putting it online, not sure where)...law school is nice, older building but kept up. Nothing really stood out to me as either great nor absolutely terrible.

I thought tha Accepted Student Day was well done mynUM.

Dean Patricia White is very impressive. Law school complex is no frill but more than adequate. UM campus is very nice. I left with a positive opinion of UM School of Law and it's culture.

I just got wait-listed at the U, keep withdrawing people! LOL, how does the wait-list process work? Should I send in another letter of recommendation?

cass and paradox, i attended the admitted students day as well and what you said pretty much hit it on the head. not raving about the law school, but not deterred from it either. I did notice that the law library was pretty small, and the classrooms and halls had some wear and tear. But the building was small and the lockers reminded me of high school, haha. Either way, the presentation and campus looked great, i got rejected from UF, in at NOVA and FIU, so will probably be attending the U next year.

I don't know yet, considering maybe taking a year off to save some $ and potentially look better for scholarships. I'm waiting on a few more schools but as of now UM is my top (rejected by UF, in at FIU and Stetson), and it's really expensive at sticker :/
