Is there any information based on past threads that gives some insight on whether these are good letters or sad letters

^ they haven't really let that many people in yet (or so it seems), so if y'all's (that's right, "y'all's") numbers are at least solid (even if not spectacular) its PROBABLY good news. I say this because I don't think it would make much sense to waitlist a bunch of people this early (for them).

Now, if Y'ALL have sketchy numbers you should worry.

i talked to admissions this morning about something else and asked about being terminally complete and they said that they only admit a few people early and the bulk of decisions come out mid march/early april.

I don't know if this is true. I was admitted in early January and I am by no means an auto-admit at USC

aren't you at/above (or nearly at/above) both 75th percentiles? that seems auto-admit to me.

What's the longest someone's been stuck on committee 1st read? I just moved to it a couple days ago, and I'm wondering if now I can just transfer to being terminally stuck on committee 1st read.
