Does look like a big drop off below 168. I'm a 3.3x, 168 and was accepted. Crazy that people with a 167 and a much higher gpa are getting waitlisted.

even though i got in, this is one of the reasons I dislike GW. For some reason it just irks me that they would use such a strong cutoff...

Wow, I got accepted. 164/3.8 I guess I'm a splitter. I got an email saying I was in consideration for a merit scholarship. Not sure what their angle is.

Unless you're a URM that is weird. I saw plenty of 167s with good GPAs get w/led today. Maybe they're YPing?

They have accepted a lot of people with 3.8+/168+, they aren't YPing 167s.

Especially since last year's medians are 3.83 and 167.

They're pushing hard to up their median LSAT to 168 like WUSTL did last year. Only problem is those numbers border T14 territory and many students would rather go to a T14 or elsewhere rather than a overpriced school in an overpriced, large market. I think they will eventually have to let a lot of 167s off of the waitlist.

Just send it to 2000 H St NW Washington, DC 20052. The mailroom here will separate it out to the admissions office.

And yeah, I'd recommend sending it via mail as opposed to email.

In via mail today. I went complete on 1/19 as well with no updates. There was a note from asst. Dean at the bottom of the letter. Single envelope...I thought I was rejected!

Finally got my fancy admit packet in the mail today. Being interested in both IP and International Law, GW is very near to the top of my list (along with GULC), so now I just need to wait and see if my email was enough to get them to give me some money Good luck everyone else!

Seems that a lot of GW's median admits also get into Cornell/GULC/Vandy/Texas, etc.
