Is everyone who has been invited actually doing the interview? Does it look bad if you decline?

at this risk of sounding like a complete idiot, what I am getting from this thread is that GULC does do interviews but you have to be invited. is that correct?

Yes.
And to the other poster, I can't imagine it looks good to turn them down for an interview.

Do people getting the interview requests all have certain status dates or something? I didn't get one, and my date is 11/14.

Yeah. As soon as I got an interview request email, I checked my status and it had updated from 10/31 to 11/16.iamrobk wrote:Do people getting the interview requests all have certain status dates or something? I didn't get one, and my date is 11/14.

Just responded and accepted the interview request. The way I see it, there's nothing to lose and there's, at the very least, a good experience to be gained.

There was a thread on Georgetown law interviews on TLS:
http://www.top-law-schools.com/archives ... 2&start=50
Granted, it was from 2-3 years ago, but I think some of the points in that thread are relevant today. Specifically, someone posted this:

Re: Georgetown c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
According to a GULC alum and close friend, interviews are for borderline candidates about whom they want more information (she said she had an admissions interview and learned this after she was admitted). It's much better than getting auto-waitlisted or auto-rejected, though, and it is a good opportunity to show a side of yourself that might not come through in the application. Don't lose hope!top30man wrote:Indeed. Not comforting.Tim0thy222 wrote:That is not comforting.hobojarpen wrote:There was a thread on Georgetown Law Interviews on TLS:

I'm a SUPER splitter and I'm worried that because I didn't get an interview, I'm an auto-reject.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
