Same numbers here and I agree, which is comforting given the Texas uncertainty. How do you think we'll fare with Vandy? Are you on LSN?

No not yet, I wanted to wait until I received my 1st acceptance. I am pretty confident with Cornell and Vandy. Probably more so with Cornell... only because there are way more people who put up their numbers this cycle. I think on LSN Vandy has maybe 6 acceptances, but I;m sure there was way more than that.

Cornell updated my application status from "Processing" on 11/4 to "Complete" as of today. I'm not sure whether they took their sweet time or if this wait was the norm.

My application status has been "verifying materials" since 11/8 so I'm pretty sure it takes them a couple of weeks to confirm they received everything.

Tough to say. Looking at LSN (last years applicant cycle) it appears as if it may be as long as the beginning/middle of December. But that's just speculation.

What the email from Cornell said re: the completion of my application:

We are delighted to inform you that your application is complete and will be forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review. You will receive a decision of either admit, reserve, or deny by mid to late December.
