Ya whats up with Homefront?, i thought about scoopin it but it was gettin like steady 7's across the rating sites. And thats a pretty mediocre grade, for 60 bux i needs a least an 8.5.
Yeah, how is it? I'm more of a sports game guy, personally, and I've been loving me some MLB The Show '11 since it came out last week.
Sports games are the best cuz they seem to change everytime you play the game its awesome. NBA 2k11 is bad ass so is FIFA, not big on MLB games and I despise madden ever since 09. 08 was the last year it made sense

I keep hearing nothing but good things about NBA 2k11, I keep telling myself I ought to get it. I love the baseball games since I'm a baseball guy at heart.

I been thinkin about gettin that need for speed game. I get real tired of the fps i find them too repetitive and the teamates always suck. Just bunch of idiots running around in circles and people hiding in corners for an entire game waiting for someone to walk by

Imagine if you get waitlisted, then you're in for an even longer wait. Hope that doesn't jinx you :D

I'm sure you'll get in soon.

Are you asking your chances to get off of the wait list or do you actually not know what waitlisted means? I am assuming you wanna know your chances, and my understanding with waitlists is they are never very good. I wouldn't bank on any school if your wait listed. Some schools actually have a number program where you are like 112 or wutever on the list, no idea how STCL does it.

That's what I meant. Should have worded the question better.

In the past years on LSN it seems like most who were waitlisted were later accepted rather than rejected. I know it is only a sample of applicants but it seems like most people got in.

I called yesterday - they said 80 people have been waitlisted so far, 40 of those will be admitted. There is no ranking but they probably won't admit from the waitlist until May.

Great info, thank you. Not doubting your credibility but what is the point of a waitlist if you already know you how many you are going to admit off of it? Sounds like it defeats the purpose unless they just want more time with the apps or something.

so no real reason to worry that they haven't gotten to my app yet? Might hold off on that deposit.

More than half of the decisions rendered after this time last year were admits. I'd be expecting something soon (like Monday)

Well it is really a number game, but I don't think not having a decision at the moment is necessarily a bad thing (now that may change in a week or longer). Don't forget they were one of the last schools to open up the apps for this year and are twice the size of many Texas law schools. Keep waiting. Even though I have my acceptance, the scholarship is still up in the air and that may make the difference between STCL and Wesleyan, Tulsa, and UALR.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Wesleyan too. Do they place well in Dallas?

Eh, I've heard mixed emotions from different people. --LinkRemoved-- <---- Compare schools (make sure you do them one at a time, otherwise the results add together all schools) Try TX Wes, then STCL, then UT, then Yale--just for fun. I think you could find a local midlaw job easier than other areas given that SMU is the only other regional school. They offered me a good deal though (like 75% tuition 1L, and 33% 2L and 3L)

I'd never checked Yale out on there, but Harvard owns them on firms that interview there. 536 to 289.
