Sorry rocon and djfe. I didn't go complete until January so I probably have a while to wait before my likely rejection.
I think they only call (not sure about people not in the US though).lotus924 wrote: i do hope they sent out some good news as well

I got dinged, too--in New England.
They rejected me for undergrad AND law school, sweet!
Actually not devastated at all--hoping for H or S now though!

Letter in VA this afternoon. Obviously, it was a super duper reach, but I'm glad I tried though!

Just submitted my app. I have to stay, the whole law school application process is really taxing on someone with OCD.

Thanks! Good luck to you, too! If we do not get into Stanford, we could just go to Yale...Knock wrote:I really enjoyed your 250, best of luck man!cardinals1989 wrote:Just submitted my app. I have to stay, the whole law school application process is really taxing on someone with OCD.

do people who have received decision letters mind saying when they went complete?
also, can anyone confirm whether letters are universally bad, or whether good news comes in the mail too?

good news comes in the mail only if you have been accepted via phone.pdiddy89 wrote:do people who have received decision letters mind saying when they went complete?

a massive binder arrives about a week and half after the phone call with a letter signed by dean asha.

Okay guys, at the risk of sounding incredibly stupid:
For question 9 on the Yale application, should we check "yes" if we have had friends look over our personal statement/diversity statement/Yale 250?
I want to be as forthright as possible, but do not think that editing assistance is what the question is looking for.
Should I just check "yes" and then explain the nature of the help?

I think no. It's talked about in the blog, and it seems to imply that they are looking for editting services and admissions consulting more so than your friends looking over it.1001ArabiaNights wrote:Okay guys, at the risk of sounding incredibly stupid:

No. Check out one of their recent twitter posts. Just get it in as quickly as possible. The only thing required at the deadline is submission through LSAC.Ignatius Reilly wrote:does the deans cert have to be in before the deadline?
