Anybody been accepted off hold yet? I've been on hold since mid December.

I received my scholarship offer with my acceptance letter last week.

Also, I will be going to the King and Spalding event and the ASW as well, if for no other reason I live next to campus.

To be honest though, I find UGA's recruiting to be kind of pitiful. Compared to Alabama, UGA has done nothing other than try to win me over with the wow factor of King and Spalding. Should be interesting to see how that trip goes.

Just got my scholly offer in the mail, tuition reduction. I've also got in a UNC and I'm in-state. Even with the tuition reduction and in-state 2L and 3L, UNC is still going to be cheaper over 3 years. It would be a more comparable offer if I had gotten the tuition equalizer. Does any one know if UGA is willing to play ball?

I really didn't except UGA to take this long to review my application. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm currently in undergrad at UGA and am tempted to just walk to the law school and demand that they review my application, this is taking entirely to long, the wait is killing me.

One day after posting this I woke up, checked my email and guess what?? Email from Georgia Law

Your application is complete and ready for review by the Admissions Committee.

Accepted 1/31, date on letter 2/2, arrived 2/5.

I am very interested in knowing how this plays out for you. Like many of you, I'm curious to see if UGA has any flexibility in going from tuition reduction to tuition equalization.

Just got a call from a 3L saying congrats on my acceptance!!!

BUT - my status checker still says that my app is being reviewed - is this wierd? should i be worried??

Also who is going to the event on 3/3 and/or 3/5??

Okay just checked again and my status checker finally changed to "Congrats..."

YAY!

I'll be going to the admitted students day on 3/5 - who else is going?

I received a phone call today as well. I received my acceptance letter last week. No scholarship offered so far though.

Admitted today. Not sure when because I checked in the afternoon and was still held.

Complete 1/26, held within a week, admitted today.

If I get the in-state tuition love, I'm in for sure.
