Absolutely. At least we will have each other to console if it comes to that.snapdragon wrote:Because if we have to wait another day, thewarflamingo and I at least may have a nervous breakdown?

won't likely take more than another two hours, i don't think they'll pull an LSAC and send out the scholly info after hours.

No, not at all.irishvt14 wrote:I guess it's not as bad as being rejected but is it horrible that I am still unbelievably bummed?
Send a LOCI. If you are serious about attending, go visit the school. Meet w/ Ms. Nutt or Jenny and let them know how much you would love to go to Wake. If it's your absolute top choice, you will never know until you try. Good luck!irishvt14 wrote:Fuck. Waitlisted. What should I do now?

Sorry about the waitlists
They can be tougher to deal with than a traditional deny. You can't just put it behind you and move on, it's this weird gray area.
Send LOCIs! Be proactive! Visit... it's totally worth the shot.

Re: Wake 2011
Yeah, I guess I assumed I would need to go down for a visit either way, but I just don't really know what to say in my LOCI that I haven't already said. I would send my deposit tomorrow if I were admitted. Think that's convincing enough?snapdragon wrote:Sorry about the waitlistsThey can be tougher to deal with than a traditional deny. Waitlisted. Will withdraw my name this week - not going to Wake at sticker over in-state tuition at Maryland.

Just by reading their profiles it seems like many were within the number range that WF traditionally accepts. Some were higher than mineleemur19 wrote:Any of the waitlisted willing to share their numbers? (LSAT/GPA)

Re: Wake 2011
I talked to Ms. Nutt. I asked her about the Scholarship Open House on February 4, 2011. I asked her if she knew when the scholarship information would be going out to the students. I noted that I would have to take off work in order to attend the event. She said that they are going to have other Scholarship Open House dates for students who are unable to attend on February 4, 2011. She then noted that they were working feverishly on trying to get scholarship emails out this evening or tomorrow during the day.
I hope this helps

Oh jeez. It may be tomorrow? I'm buying this whole thread a drink. (the funny thing is, if I didn't have a date to wait for, I'd be way less concerned about this!)MrThomasFT3 wrote:I talked to Ms. Nutt. I'm in the same spot as you. I've tried calling twice today with no answer each time. It just rings and rings.Justathought wrote:I've been stuck on Electronic application received since 1/12. Re: Wake 2011
Hehe, today doesn't look like the day to call Wake. They must be very busy with calls given the amount of activity in this thread alone. I'm going to give it till Wednesday and if nothing changes, give them a call.Moral_Midgetry wrote:I'm in the same spot as you. I've tried calling twice today with no answer each time. Re: Wake 2011
Honestly, Wake was a little bit of a stretch for me with my GPA, so I'm not at all surprised about the WL. If anything I'm surprised (but happy) that I wasn't dinged outright. Well, guess I'm riding this one out!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
