Send a LOCI. If you are serious about attending, go visit the school. Meet w/ Ms. Nutt or Jenny and let them know how much you would love to go to Wake. If it's your absolute top choice, you will never know until you try. Good luck!

Sorry about the waitlists They can be tougher to deal with than a traditional deny. You can't just put it behind you and move on, it's this weird gray area.

Yeah, I guess I assumed I would need to go down for a visit either way, but I just don't really know what to say in my LOCI that I haven't already said. I would send my deposit tomorrow if I were admitted. Think that's convincing enough?

Just by reading their profiles it seems like many were within the number range that WF traditionally accepts. Some were higher than mine

163/3.32 extensive leadership experience (spoke at my college graduation) apparently that doesn't matter so please focus solely on my numbers> DAMNIT

And yes, if any of you aren't going to go to Wake, please please please withdraw

I noted that I would have to take off work in order to attend the event. She said that they are going to have other Scholarship Open House dates for students who are unable to attend on February 4, 2011. She then noted that they were working feverishly on trying to get scholarship emails out this evening or tomorrow during the day.

Hehe, today doesn't look like the day to call Wake. They must be very busy with calls given the amount of activity in this thread alone. I'm going to give it till Wednesday and if nothing changes, give them a call.

Honestly, Wake was a little bit of a stretch for me with my GPA, so I'm not at all surprised about the WL. If anything I'm surprised (but happy) that I wasn't dinged outright. Well, guess I'm riding this one out!
