anyone else complete 12/8 and still under review? I applied in late November and not sure if this is a bad sign.

yeah me...and I beat there 75s so I dunno

I did put the dual degree option for a CMU public policy masters and that maybe be holding things up, but it shouldn't matter because you get accepted separately. If I'm still waiting in week I call and inquire as to how that affects my app.

+1. I'm not worried yet. Maybe by tomorrow I'll start to worry but I think our status checkers will likely update by the end of the day one way or another.

yea I'm pretty sure I'm around the 75 percentile for both GPA and LSAT (I forget what Pitt's LSAT numbers are). I think that a lot of people went complete on 12/8 so I'm wondering if only some of the people that went complete that date are getting decisions.

I'm starting to get nervous b/c this is what happened on friday before I got rejected from PennState. I'm hoping that this is not the case.
I wouldn't worry too much with your numbers though if I were you

It's pretty tempting to freak out, and I am not one to shy away from temptations. But, they probably aren't going to update everyone's status all at once. ...Right?

Accepted as of today!

Mine wasn't changed until ten minutes ago at the most so they probably aren't updating them all at the same time.

Congrats! And thanks for the reassurance. Maybe it's a last name thing... My last name starts with a T and I'm always the last to get things. Didn't get my LSAT score until 10:30 pm!

Yes. "Application Received" since 12/17. I really wish they would get a move on. I live in Pittsburgh and will probably go to Pitt, but I just need something to happen.

Today I got an unexpected extra birthday gift: ACCEPTED!

For those number crunchers out there, my stats were 162 LSAT, 3.38 GPA. I applied in October but had my application held until after my December LSAT retake.

I went "Under Review" on the 11th so I was surprised to get accepted so quickly! For those of you still waiting, do not wait to get an e-mail from Pitt with your accepted status; instead go online and check your application status under the Pitt Law "prospective students" section. My page indicates that an Acceptance package was also sent out today, but I have still not gotten any e-mail notification and would thus not have known yet if I had not checked online.

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten accepted so far and good luck to those still waiting. See you in Pittsburgh!!

Just randomly checked the Pitt Status Checker and found "Accepted 1/18" I was previously "UR 12/8"
