Waitlisted but Berkeley acceptance took the sting out. Wasn't going to apply until they shot the priority track and fee waiver my way.

This thread has been kinda quiet.... Any admitted students hear anything about scholarships yet?

Awesome! What did you think of the school? I visited before applying and loved the law school. My parents are down in Greensboro and I've started loving NC more and more.

I was blown away. From my conversations with Dean Hoye and Professor Coleman it seems like they are very supportive of whatever avenues their students want to take with the law. They talked in length about students creating ad hoc seminars and I was really impressed by the clinics they offered. Definitely a top choice as long as I can get some sort of scholarship money.

It's hard! I've kinda written off duke since I have such a connection to the NYC area. But still, I'm humbled for getting the offer either way.

congrats! got mine today as well, $45k over 3 years. now I can begin negotiating with some others....

Hm, since a lot of the T14 uses the same system, are we to presume it would display this for other schools as well?

No. They use the same system in very different ways.

awww I haven't gotten mine either- I had hopes it was in the mail but my status still says to wait for a decision email lol

I'll definitely test their limits as soon as I get an initial offer. It's likely gonna come down to Duke w/$$ and my fiancée getting a Ph.D. from Duke/UNC vs. Yale and my fiancée completely changing her career plans to accommodate me.

Let me know how it goes. I did some LSN stalking and looks like their Dean's is not going to be as good as UVa's, so I need to negotiate upward.

I am facing the same issue more or less, although my wife has agreed to accommodate me because I promised to fund her pursuits after I get out of law school. So I envy your Yale choice since I would most definitely go to New Haven.
