Well, as another 168, high GPA applicant I can say that I'd very much like a call today.

Got the call today, in with $15,000 a year. My first big acceptance, so I'm pretty excited.
Oh, and I submitted 11/22 and went complete 11/30.

I don't know to congratulate you or not since it's not an acceptance, but you seem so happy!Xnegd wrote:Just got the news this moment!!!!!

I suppose this doesn't bode well for me, since I have not received a call and was complete so early...

lol, thanks! I'm pretty freaking happy. A wait list is a lot better than a rejection, and I had a hard day so I am very much going to look at this with a "glass half full" style.

I'm in the same boat, complete for almost 2 months and no call yet with GPA at median and LSAT at 75th. Maybe they're just saving us really early birds for later? haha I am choosing to be optimistic!r6_philly wrote: I suppose this doesn't bode well for me, since I have not received a call and was complete so early...

Re: UCLA? 2011
Just got the email - waitlisted womp womp. Don't really know how to feel, UCLA is my #1 so I'll stay on the waitlist.
Applied ED 165 3.78 with pretty strong softs.
Anyone know how the waitlist works for ED people? I just emailed their admissions department but I'm confused. If we're admitted after being waitlisted are we still required to accept? Or does Waitlist basically turn us into RD applications?
Also, does anyone have any good links or references for things people can do to increase their chances of getting off the Waitlist and accepted? I know that people have recommended sending monthly "Letters of Continued Interest" so I'll most likely be doing that but any other guides/suggestions?

Re: UCLA? 2011
Our ED was only conditioned towards if we were accepted now. From this point on we will be treated like any other student on the wait list. If accepted we can still go elsewhere.mdfreeman wrote:Just got the email - waitlisted womp womp. Don't really know how to feel, UCLA is my #1 so I'll stay on the waitlist.

What were your numbers? Has anyone gotten a scholarship letter in the mail or anything? I have pretty good numbers for UCLA and they didn't offer me anything on the phone, and I haven't received a letter or anything.Lou9 wrote:Got the call today, in with $15,000 a year. I got the call from the dean this morning. IN! 3.71, 170. No mention of scholarship; I hope that some negotiating will work by using offers from other schools as leverage. Any idea if they have a matching policy?
Keep up the hope, everyone!
