So I got an emailed request for my Fall semester grades. Problem: I graduated in the summer... They must've made a mistake. And my G.P.A is 4.0.
Is this a good sign?
IIRC, last year, they emailed randomly. People with low GPAs and people with high GPAs were both asked for fall semester grades. In general, it seemed like most of those emailed got admits, whether or not their GPA stayed the same or improved.

Bold claim... but I sure hope so! Honestly, I just want to have a decision before next saturday because I'll be seeing lots of family and family friends and I don't want to have to explain my whole situation to each one of them (again).
Ideally, I would like to rock my Columbia sweater to that party

Anyone here that got accepted - does it say so when you log in to the Columbia status checker? And do they notify you at your LSAC email or Columbia status email? Also I never got a completion email. I just assumed that since LSAC and Columbia's website said my application was complete that I wouldn't hear anything else. I'm kind of worried now actually!

does the status checker just go from "complete" to "decision" (does it even specify when a decision has been made or does it just stay at complete?) also, is there an "in review" ever?

It never moves. Complete is the final stage.

If the status checker says complete, you're good.
Edit: I haven't been accepted, but if I recall correctly, the status checker never changes after "complete" status.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Now I can go back to worrying about when I'll get my decision! Tomorrow?

Same here, I'm just a smidge out of HYS' league but right in Columbia's range. Here's hoping!

I know right? My GPA/LSAT combo seems to be rather unattractive.

Whatever they are, did you apply to a few safeties? I know I know, only if for satisfaction sake.

How is it that so many of you have acceptances already!
Really want to get into at least 1 school before New Years comes around.
Just a Q, are all those ED Index # based on the highest LSAT score? I'm a multiple retaker with a good chance if Columbia takes my highest LSAT, but a crappy chance if it takes my average.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
