Seems like a great way to utilize some of the major companies located here. I'm thinking they should try to get another certain Columbus-based company as a partner...

I saw that and was really surprised that Limited Brands wasn't one of the first companies to get in on it!
For what it's worth, Limited put a posting up for summer interns on Symplicity, so while they may not participate in the fellowship program, they still show love for Moritz kids.
Also, from what I can tell, none of Wexner's ubergift is going directly to the law school. Boo.

I was thinking I might forward the program on to my friend in HR. ...but not until I commit to OSU.

What are the scholarship stipulations for your "better" offer though? 3.0? 3.2? Be wary of that, you will have little to no control over how well you will do with a curve.

Do you mind sharing when you went complete, went under review, and got your acceptance email? I see you posted this on thursday at 1:30 am. I'm guessing you got it earlier in the day? I hope so or I won't get any sleep since I'll be checking my email every time i wake up in the middle of the night.

Does anyone know what getting dinged looks like? Do they update you as rejected in the status checker or do you just sit as under review until you receive a cordial letter via snail mail? I haven't been under review that long but I'm just wondering if anyone has relayed the experience of getting rejected.

I've been under review since 1/4 so I'm beginning to wonder this as well....

If I find out I'll let you know. I've still only been under review since 1/14 so I'm not sweating it too much... that's a lie. I'm obsessing.

Last year I was rejected via email, status checker changed to decision rendered about the same time. Took about 11 weeks though, and coincidentally or not, it came about a day after I called and asked when I should expect a decision.

Hi, I have a quick question. I applied to OSU for the Fall of 2011, I'm also transferring from my community college. I checked on Thursday the 17th and my status online changed to admitted. The only thing is, that I haven't got an email or anything in the mail yet saying I've been accepted. I applied on January 16th, so it was a month and one day until I got any news. So my question was, will I eventually get that email/letter in the mail soon or is something up?

I got an email same day as my status changed.
But I don't quite understand. Are you transferring from your community college to OSU for your undergrad, or for your law degree? Are there community colleges with JD programs?

Yeah sorry bout that, I'm transferring for my undergrad. I just found this site while searching on google and I figured I'd stop by and ask a quick question.

Do you have a 160+ LSAT? Your turn around is so quick it seems you might have auto-admit numbers...
