Lol. That's a good question! Maybe they couldn't have green slime? I'm sure the standards were higher back then. These days that would be the name of a porn or something.

That's the other show I was trying to think of! Donkey Lips, Budnik, Pinsky, Sponge! Classic stuff.
don't forget Ugg Lee.
Is that show on DVD? I would love to get that on Netflix

Some website did a "salute your shorts - where are they now" piece. It was actually moderately depressing. But man, I loved that show, and Heeeeeey Dude!

Mystery Files sounds familiar, I don't remember watching tha tone though?

My old roomate had Pete and Pete on DVD, it was just epic.

i think they ran a bed and breakfast? ok i just looked it up, and her grandfather was an innkeeper. also, cool tidbit the about the actress who played Shelby:

Irene Ng is a graduate of Harvard University. She was formerly a banker for Merrill Lynch.

Wow... you guys are writing these faster than I can refresh the page.

I'm reading the posts, thinking "i'm going to mention salute your shorts and hey dude"... and you guys beat me to it :(

Every time we see Christine Taylor in a movie, my sister and I refer to her as that girl from Hey Dude...

Classic line my mom still uses: "Don't forget to wash where the sun don't shine" in that creepy tone used in Ren and Stimpy... so weird, but she thinks she's funny.

I remember once a few years ago, we were in the poconos one summer, and I couldn't sleep. I watched a marathon of Family Ties all night for like 6 hours. It was the first and only time I've ever seen the show. I haven't seen it since. I'm not even sure it's real LOL

Saw the movie -- it was ok but nothing compares to the show. They had a whole, weird backstory on 99 that was out of the blue.
