I splurged on a ticket back when the original cast was still on (zero regrets) and since then I've successfully waited in the cancellation line twice for face value tickets. Froze my butt off waiting outside for 8+ hours in November weather but still zero regrets. I never had any luck with the lottery either and I used to enter daily.
