TBH, I suspect we will see a ding wave on Friday. It may or may not be accompanied by JS2s.

In a shocking turn of events, Harvard decided to cut its class size down after March ASW. The March 1st admits were the last ones of the cycle. Good luck next year guys

The only movement I've noticed on here was some applications going complete on Monday...that means they're still at it, yeah?az21833 wrote:has anybody gottten an email back from them this week?

If JS had a dog, what breed would it be?wannabelawstudent wrote:Didn't we post dogs on monday? Isn't that the last movement we saw? Just saying....
And, if it's a rescue dog, does that mean that long-shots have a better chance, you know, because she has a kind soul?

Anyone who owned such a cute breed must surely take pity on a law school applicant.

Grrrr.....
I think the whole "admissions office open" this week may have been...less than accurate.

I just got an email from JS offering to put admitted students in touch with current HLS students who chose HLS over other schools and scholarships. It's not personalized, so it could have been typed up weeks ago and just scheduled to go out automatically, but it's something.Lar-ties wrote:Grrrr.....

FWIW, it looks like at least one person was dinged last Friday. At least there's evidence of some activity.

+1. I'm still really intimidated by JS and kind of afraid to respond even though it's a really nice email.sabanist wrote:I just got an email from JS offering to put admitted students in touch with current HLS students who chose HLS over other schools and scholarships. Also, my email forwarding seems to have started working somehow.
ETA MOTM I think it's probably a time thing. They might not want to be like "what's going on with your decision" until you've had a good while to think about it and a cushion where you've likely heard from competing places about admissions/scholarship.

i'm about to send you the same email. just pick Y already and open up a spot for the rest of us.Wormfather wrote:Someone is doing something, my inbox is on full blast from HLS, but for some reason they keep talking about me picking them over YLS, nothing said of SLS. Makes me feel sad for the farm.
