I was in the first batch of scholarship emails and responded but still haven't gotten an email scheduling an interview time.. anyone else in the same position?

Could someone please bring me up to speed on how Georgetown handles scholarships/grant offers? What I gather from sifting through the last few pages of this thread is

1) Some people have been invited for scholarship-related interviews, and
2) There's a "yellow sheet" that will be on the admitted students website for the rest of us to fill out.

Is #1 the only way to get major $$? Is #2 also for merit aid, or just need-based? Am I missing other elements of Georgetown's $ formula? (I submitted FAFSA and NeedAccess forms a few weeks ago.)

updated UR again.. 1/12 - 2/13 - 2/19 - 2/22 -- what does this mean? it's making me nervous! i'd say i'm borderline, not early action/decision

+1. Would like to know this as well. Are the interviews for named scholarships or something? What kind of $$ are those schollys for?

And for above poster, I believe the yellow sheet is for merit aid. As you already know, Georgetown looks at the Need Access form for any institutional need based aid.

I got a confirmation email the day after I replied, and an email scheduling my interview a few days after that.

I had an interview on 2/12 and updated to UR on 2/19. No idea if it went to UR this morning before going to DR.
I live in DC so hopefully the letter will arrive quickly (positive thinking...)

Same here. Was one of the UR 2/5 ---> 2/17 updates. Probably a ding or WL.

I just got decision rendered as well (2/22) ... and am able to log in to the admitted students website. Hopefully that means what I think it means.

DR 2/22, "special group" in the Preferred Waitlist. LOCI, here we go! I want this soo badly!

The decision and email came pretty much at the same time, if this helps anyone else with figuring out what decision they recieved.

I looked at that thinger, but couldn't figure out what the login and password would be. How did you get yours?

Does Georgetown hand out dings and WLs via email or do they crush you the old-fashioned way? I'm confused by this priority-WL email nonsense.

They only send acceptances via snail mail.
